At
MIRC we are always concerned about the continued
success of our dealers. Providing high quality
guitars at attractive wholesale prices, is a
very important part of achieving this result.
The following SIX step Process is the designed
to insure that you get the very best value for
your “USED” guitar dollar.
|
|
When
a guitar shipment arrives at our warehouse, our Receiving Manager and
his staff unpacks, counts
and inspects each guitar.
The manufacture’s serial number is removed
and replaced with our MIRC
serial number. Then
the word “USED” is
stamped on the back of the head stock. These last
two steps are taken, to protect the interests of
our manufactures and to prevent the filing of improper
warranty claims. The guitars are then graded and
prepared to go into our restoration shop.
|
|
The
second inspection is performed by our professional
repair staff, while completing any necessary
repairs and adjustments, The MIRC Restoration
Shop is one of the largest and highest volume
shops in the country. We perform over 4000 individual
repairs per month. Our shop has been awarded
a “Gold” level certification from
Fender™ and employs one “Gold“,
six “Silver” and several “Bronze” level
repair techs.
|
|
The Quality
Control Manager performs the third inspection
and determines the final ‘GRADE' of the
guitar. This process involves checking all seams,
surfaces, finish, set-up and electronics. This
detailed inspection takes approximately five
minutes per guitar.
|
|
The
fourth inspection is completed by our courteous,
knowledgeable
Sales
Staff, while preparing your
order for shipping.
|
|
The
fifth inspection is the responsibility of our Warehouse
Manager and his staff. While carefully
packing your guitars into double walled boxes,
for their protection, each instrument is given
one more check.

We know that we don’t have
to be this thorough, but we also know that it’s
the right thing to do. |
